We retained the services of Jeremy Lins, Lins Construction to rehabilitate a 100-year old home in Centreville. The project called for upgrading existing space and adding an extension which would blend with the original architecture and roof lines, including a new bedroom, two full baths, studio and over-sized kitchen. The project included new electrical, plumbing, roof, appliances, HVAC, gutter system, painting, new windows and exterior siding. During the course of this project, Jeremy was on site daily and, since we were living out of town, frequent phone calls were made to us to update progress or confirm a change order we had requested. The sub-contractors Jeremy utilized were master professionals in every respect. The entire project was completed on time, on budget and in an exceptionally quality fashion. We could not be more pleased with the home now serving as our primary residence.

Since that time, we have had Jeremy build a new two-car garage with concrete flooring and replace outdated roofs on another property we own, including an out-building and the primary house. Again, the jobs were on time, on budget and very well done.

I would not hesitate to recommend Jeremy and Lins Construction for any home building or interior renovations. I have never worked with a more conscientious or accessible primary contractor through ten different old home rehabs over the years.

After getting several bids for my new roof, I selected Lins Construction. I selected your company because the price was very competitive, and I appreciated your sales technique very professional without being high pressure. Also, you did not speak negatively about your competition as one of the other bidders did. You provided complete information on warranties, products, options, and prices. You did not try to sell me new gutters (mine were relatively new) or load the job with other extras.

Your crew was outstanding. The job was completed in one day; the crew was neat, efficient, extremely professional and competent. You also provided copper flashing around my chimney at no extra charge, which was not part of our deal.

I was most impressed, however, with your quick response when I called to report a leak soon after the new roof was installed. You arrived within 2 hours of my call, inspected the site in the pouring rain, and determined that it was not a defect in the new roof, but a failure of an old skylight. You offered to replace the skylight ASAP with an upgraded model at what I considered to be a very fair price. The work was done within the week, and we havent had any problems since. (One of your competitors had told me the skylight was failing, but I opted not to replace it when the new roof was being installedmy mistake!)

I would be happy to speak to any prospective clients to tell them about the very positive experience I had with Lins Construction. I hope I dont need another roof in my lifetime, but if I do, Ill call to see if youre still in business or happily retired to a tropical island paradise.
